The Picture Coding Symposium (PCS) is an international forum for sharing academic and industry research devoted to advances in visual data coding. Established in 1969, PCS is the pioneer conference for image and video coding and has the longest history of any conference in this area.
PCS 2021 is the 35th event in series and will convene at the University of Bristol, UK.
Bristol is a vibrant waterfront city that is well known internationally as a hub for the creative industries. It is a UNESCO City of Film and the home of many well-known artists and organisations such as Banksy, the BBC Natural History Unit and Aardman Animations.
